Artist's Comments
Design concept for Krita Shizumori's evil alter-ego; Kali, the Dark Deity. She's supposed to wear a cracked helmet, but I'll design that later. I just wanted to focus on the clothes and colors for now. I pretty much borrowed concepts from her regular dress, threw in some armor ideas from other pictures, and came up with this. I should throw in more black in later versions, since she's designed off the Buddist goddess Kali, who is associated with black. But Krita/Kali is also associated with nature, so green is just as important for her.
The little sketch of Krile is from her shock of first seeing her sister become evil.  |
